The Veterans Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center is a specialized division of the Caucasian Humanitarian and Analytical Foundation, established to support war veterans, military personnel, their family members, and individuals affected by armed conflict.

 

The Center’s mission is to promote mental health recovery, social adaptation, psychological resilience, and an improved quality of life for the defenders of Ukraine and their families.

Psychiatrist, Head of the Veterans Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center

Yuliia Fomenko is a psychiatrist and specialist in the field of mental health and psychological support.

 

She holds a higher medical education degree and has practical experience in psychiatry. Her areas of expertise include the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental health disorders, crisis conditions, anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as psychoeducation and support for individuals facing challenging life circumstances.

 

She is actively engaged in educational and awareness-raising activities, promoting knowledge about mental health and helping people better understand themselves, overcome psychological difficulties, and find resources for recovery and personal growth.

 

Within the activities of the Caucasian Humanitarian and Analytical Foundation, she leads programs dedicated to supporting war veterans and their families. She coordinates the implementation of psychological assistance, psychosocial support, rehabilitation, and social adaptation programs for veterans.

Iryna Dmytrenko is a Master of Psychology and a psychologist at the Veterans Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center of the Caucasus Humanitarian and Analytical Foundation (CHAF).

 

She has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector, providing a strong foundation for comprehensive psychological assessment and support for people affected by trauma, stress, and crisis.

 

She provides psychological support to veterans, active military personnel, their family members, and civilians affected by war.
